Our Story
At a time in South Africa when there is a need for hope and action, the Groenkloof Foundation is honoured to champion the cause of the elderly. Built on Christian love and values with an ethos of “live and let live,” this truly South African Trust is active as a Welfare Organisation, first in the Groenkloof Retirement Estate, and then further into Southern Africa.
The Groenkloof Foundation is registered as a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) and is managed by its Trustees. It operates in a transparent and accountable way in line with the Income Tax Act and the Older Persons Act, to advocate for the elderly, develop best practices, and share its knowledge freely and intentionally.
Our Board of Advisors, made up of Chairpersons from the various Groenkloof Homeowners’ Associations, plays a vital role in guiding our direction, keeping us informed of trends, and helping us stay connected with the needs of the communities we serve.
